Since you don´t have many high cost minions you could drop the Unyielding Goblins to put two Black Gate Sentry which can be far more lethal in a wounding meta and can even manage to win some skirmishes. Of course possessions like Armor can really make him less useful (unlike Unyielding...) but he is far hard to kill than the goblin and can make your opponent think twice before try to double.

You can consider Ithil Stone and Gothmog´s Warg  too (works nice with scouting band and can be good to your exerting  [Sauron] minions), but since you have only 8 of them maybe it´s not a good choice after all...

Why are you running Book of Mazarbul in expanded? It doesn't do anything. You want be drawing any cards with it any way as it has been stated that when a card says site 3,4,5 whatever it means fellowship block site unless it says 'any' site 3,4,5 etc... I might be missing something that uses tales perhaps. Maybe you are using it for Proud and able damage/resistance boost on gimli, but maybe there are for more useful possessions to use. You could always run Gimli's Helm since it could at least do something productive , and it would effect anything as it isn't an armor or weapon so he can still bear 1 of each of those. Not to mention Gimli's Helm is free where the book costs to better to give as little twilight as possible especial when paying 2 for a useless possession.

If a Balrog falls from a bridge and noone is around, does it make a sound?

Thanks NK! A long winded explanation of why not to use Book of Mazarbul

Replaced with Gimli's Helm.

If I take out Unyielding Goblin it means less reliance on Underground sites so I will probably do that.
