This is the Free People side I was using against Shelobplayer that got him inspired for his last deck post.  This deck definitely has some holes in it, but I'm not sure how I can improve it to make it stronger.  Hopefully someone can assist me with that.

Frodo, Resolute Hobbit
The One Ring, The Great Ring
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Farmer Maggot, Hobbit of the Marish
Pippin, Hobbit of Some Intelligence

Gandalf, Powerful Guide x4
Daddy Twofoot, Next-Door Neighbor
Hobbiton Brewer, Maker of Fine Ales
Pallando, Far-Travelling One
Sting, Elven Long Knife
Hobbit Sword
Glamdring, Foe-Hammer
A Promise x4
Birthday Present x2
Home and Hearth x3
Scouring of the Shire
Inspiration x4
Traveled Leader x3
Make Haste x4

Shadow is a Nazgul threat strategy and the site path is mainly forests and dwellings so Farmer Maggot can have his bonus if he's still on the table.  Any ideas that would make this better?

I would recommend G for Grand instead of A Promise if you don't mind the twilight.

No you don't.  Not if he's planning on abusing Make Haste.

Although I hadn't though of G for Grand when I built this, the twilight would probably hurt me more than help.  It would be a nice bonus for Pippin and Maggot too, but I don't think I could use Make Haste as much.

It's very dependent on what I get early on, is there anyway I can make it so I can get a better start?

Erland, Dale Counselor can go pretty wild with Inspiration, and I would try some No Visitors and Community living.

Since you do not run any spell, I'd replace Gandalf powerful guide for either Gandalf leader of the company or Gandalf wise guide

Agreed, half of his text (maybe not the best half) is useless.  As for cycling you could cut one Gandalf and maybe another card (Traveled Leader if you have a way to use your sites)
