Well,
I have decided to post some decks.
Here is my first attempt.

I have tried to bring back the discard hobbits to the Movie format.

Ring bearer.

Frodo, Old bilbo's Heir
ATAR

Starting
Merry Learned Guide
Pippin Wooly-footed Rascal
Legolas, Dauntless hunter

Companions
Taurnil, Sharp eyed Bowmen x3
Sam, Son of Hamfast x1
Aragorn Ranger of the North x1

Possesions
Elven Bow x2
Sting baggins heirloom x2

Allies
Bilbo, well-spoken Gentlehobbit x2
Hobbit party guest x2
Treebeard, earthborn x3
Bounder x1

Conditions
Consorting with wizards x3
A talent for not being seen x2
Escape x2

Events
Knocked on the head x4
Nine-Fingered frodo and the ring of Doom x4

Strategy

Not much of a strategy here, just choke them in every way.
This set up with the 2 hobbits taurnil(bow) and DH, Bilbo with consorting, There wont be much twilight to play minions. if they are played, discard the hobbits ( or use Escape ) stack them on treabeard and play them next turn or in the regroup.
Any suggestions? everything is welcome!
Grtz.

Isn't Sting banned in movie? Also, you need to think strategy a bit more. Not that there is anything wrong with the deck, per say, but with the creative process. You see, Old Bilbo's Heir and Son of Drogo are two VERY, VERY different Frodos, which support entirely different strategies. When your opener is "one or the other, doesn't matter" than something is probably wrong strategy-wise. I checked your list, and you have a few allies that would greatly benefit from Old Bilbo's Heir, so no way you can simply replace him with Son of Drogo and everything will be fine. Also, you have very few cards that actually exert the ring-bearer for great benefit, meaning you can't even abuse the frodo signets by exerting and then discarding them. Also, you have only 2 cards to get them back ito the game (aside from the singleton Treebeard), but a small The Shire Countryside engine that accomplishes little to no purpose, I'd switch it around, upping Knocked on the Head to 3 and probably losing the Countryside engine for something better, since you're not abusing vitality anyway.

Great though fm. you are right, i wasnt clear which frodo to use but i think the most wisely will be to use the ally healing one.
and you are right about the Shire county side, i have no real need for healing.

Drop the elven bows.  Their not doing you anything as neither Legolas or Thranuil can add to the archery.  Change them to naith long for the strength bonus.

I think you do need healing because Dauntless Hunter or not, strength 6 companions cannot survive in Movie.

Not to mention skirmish events. Hobbit Intuition would be a good place to start.

But what's he goona heal from? Overwhelming? I think this will do poorly, but, as it is, healing won't do squat about it. Higher strength would, on the other hand. AND make the healing matter.

I have played 3 games won 2 out of it with it, the wounds out side the skirmishes are placed on the hobbit and then discarded, but u are right tauril and DH exhausted most of the time and in the game i lost i played against a full archery deck. Hobbits got discarded at site 8 and moved to 9 with only 4 vitality total. i would have lost otherwise anyways.
