Hi everyone,

Just found these pages. Just one word: Marvelous!!!!

I am from Amsterdam and back here we have a very small comunity of 5 players. Actually we are still playing in the 2-klaveren. We held a TOC over there a couple of years ago when the ec was held in Utrecht. We play extra expanded or something like that: Actually all cards are allowed, but with some we have some own rulings.

Since Decipher lost it's rights for Lotr ccg we haven't had contact with other palyers. So I've a few questions to fill in our gap.

Do you guy's have an official rulingbook?
Last I read on decipher was about sites and zone's. You were only allowed to play certain sites in a certain region. Is this valid? What is the current site mechanic?
What is most populair right now?
Are there still players in the Netherland except from Amsterdam? And if so are you interested in a tournament?
Are there plannings for new sets? Made by players I mean;)
And how are you all doing?!!!!!!!

Like to hear from you all!

Kind regards,

Jan Willem

Jan,

There are a few former dAgents who are working, albeit quietly, to create a Players Committee in order to run organized play, create virtual cards, and issue erratta and other rulings - essentially, to keep the game going.

As for the other questions, I'll let the others fill you in.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

HawkeyeSPF and a few others I know who used to be on WWL are planning on reviving the PC. Hopefully enough can be convince to keep the game going.

As for your questions...

Kralik has posted the official Rulebook and CRD on this forum that you have posted on.

There is no restriction on what sites you can play in which region. With the release of Shadows the sitepath became more dynamic, removing the 1,2,3... of previous blocks with sites with Shadow numbers but no site number. Decipher also added regions, region 1 adds 0 twilight, region 2 adds 3 twilight and region 3 adds 6 twilight.

As to the question what is most popular... look through Lothlorien at the decks people are building.

Gil-Estel is in Netherlands. Play in the Netherlands and people like me, in the UK, may join you! If you want to play online, look to the Green Dragon for info on how to get SdA and start playing against forum members online.

We are doing great! This is the best forum on the web, and it has the best LOTR players still playing.

Look forward to you becoming an active member of the community.

Most popular? Elven hunters. Period. Even though rainbow initiative decks rock massively more over them, they're still popular. Go figure.

Uruk-hai Hunters. Evil Men archery. Forest Nazzies. That's pretty much it.

In expanded, beware the Dwarf/Sauron discard. Or Rohan Horns/ Demoralized, IB/ Demoralized, Anything/ Demoralized, IB/anything.

Then there's GE, who runs LttG. He's from your area.

I just love to spam in my own language, sorry guys. I said nothing special, if you want a translation, go altavista on it!

No need for any, actually, I'm just kidding. Wink What I'd really like, though, is for me to be able to read it. Tongue

Its really good to know that LotR is thriving all over the world, though.

Welcome to the forums, Smeagollum. If you can, it would be a neat idea to get SdA so you can play some of the guys on here (including me). Smiley

onthaal aan het laatste eenvoudige huis. Als I' m ooit in Nederland I' ll geef u een schreeuw. It' S.A. lange manier van Alabama, misschien zodra ik op SDA krijg.

It was worth a shot.

If I translate this back to english I'll get: treat to The Last Simple house. If I ever in the Netherlands give you a yell. It's a long manner form Alabama, maybe when I on SDA get....

You can imagine the extreme fun I had reading this....thanks for brighten up my day!!:)

Hi people from the middle earth!

Thx for the reply!

I can´t imagine elven-hunters to be strong. I always win these match/ups! I´m an into many coloursplayer Smiley ...And believe me.. so far it has never been beaten! Even if others play wih my deck!

As everybody seem to understand Dutch and the American should know Dutch, because it was only was one vote and you would have learn Dutch instead of english.. hahaha can you imagine!
Gil! Lijkt me een geweldig idee om een toernooi te organiseren, maar ik wil dan wel rond de 20 spelers hebben en hoe regelen we prijssupport?

Steve, Thx for the crd. I will read as soon as I´ve time. I´ve to go now, because my lotr community in the 2/klaveren is waiting!

Regards,

Jw

You want at least 20 players, or can there be more? I think it is possible to have more players than just 20. Pricesupport, well, we have to see how to fix that...we have a lot of experienced guys over here...they could help Wink
