Did anyone hear about this? I was at the movies at AMC, and apparently Fathom Events is screening the extended editions of all three movies in June; Fellowship on the 14th, Towers on the 21st, and Kings on the 28th. I didn't look into pricing and stuff, but I know I definitely want to go haha. Details here. Def looks like a fun, nostalgic event.

I took my two kids to see it on the big screen.  They were 1 and 3 years of age when the original Fellowship movie came out.  The extended versions were pretty lengthy with no intermissions, but I was surprised how fast 3 1/2 to 4 hours went by depending on the movie.  Tickets were more than regular price as it was considered a special event.  Lots of people came... I personally never get tired of these movies...  All time favorites...
