I have had much success with this deck lately. It's basically all I've been using in standard format on gccg for the past couple of months. The freeps has won against Troll Swarm, Reload, Forest Guls, Orc Swarm, Warg Wounding, Orc corruption and heaps of other crud. The only recent loss I can recall was against Tempest's Ferny site control deck (which is awesome).

Gandalf with the herb bag and his spells blows everything away!

Thanks to Olorin for convincing me to build a Powerful guide deck. Thumbs Up

Hi there,

if you use Be Gone! to weaken minions in the maneuver phase, you could use Aragorn Thorongil to exert in maneuver minions with high vitality; then you'll have it easier with Terrible and evil Smiley
you know, I use Aragorn's bow too. Gwaihir is nice on that Gandalf too, so my version of that deck get a lot of threats.

about the shadow:
personally I like Nazgul, but however, they lost somehow their threatening power... still not having found what I've been looking for Wink

Hi Olorin! Given that it was you who originally inspired me to build this deck... Could you show me the decklist that you run? This by far my favourite deck and has an unbelievable win/loss ratio. It is very hard to stop me from getting to site 9 first. Besides the cards that you mentioned, I want to also add Out Of The High Airs, however 33 is as big as I want it, so the question is what cards to remove..?

Well, yeah, it's a very nice deck. I won last "European Championship" (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.) with this kind of deck.
I will try to post my decklist here for you. I play also Anduril 17R for site liberation, so I guess I play 34/34 or so...

Out Of The High Airs would be a nice feature... where's the room for it Wink

btw: there's a nice story about Fierce in Despair and the Board is set with this Gandy PG  Twisted!

I had a nice game with your aussie mate smallman, which is indeed a very good player: I trippled vs. his troll swarm deck from site 3 to 6; then he said: good game, no more troll in deck  LOL!

great U2 reference.  Wink

...yes, it is Wink
