With your tales, I'd strongly recommend Mines of Khazad-Dum.

If this is sheer beatdown, why no Lord of Moria?

And also why no Gimli's Battle Axe?

I also don't understand the FOUR copies of Delving. It's a nice card and all, but Book of Mazarbul should do much more for you...and you've got only a 40-card Moria paired with it, so it's not like you need all that Delving anyway.

One more thought: Storm of Argument. Could be an awesome way to get Flurry of Blows back. Thumbs Up

EDIT: One other thought: I see very little Balrog protection. I know your Site 7 discards allies, but it couldn't hurt to toss in Dwarven Smith as a sacrificial lamb. Heck, I'd rather have him than the movement penalty (and fellowship size) increasing Dwarf Guard, though the Guard makes an okay speed bump as well, I guess.

They certainly didn't seem like a really viable culture until Reflections, but then again, in a great twist of irony, I haven't used Dwarves all that much.

Still it is not the best option in Fellowship. They are generaly not very strong and options are limited when it comes to the dwarves. Also no condition discard will hurt with so many vital conditions running around in Fellowship block. Under the Watching Eye, Orc Bowmen, Goblin Swarms, Goblin Armory, Black Breath, Blade Tip......

Make Light of Burdens takes care of Black Breath and Blade Tip, at least. The rest, not so much.

Here are my suggestions

Frodo And Ring
*The One Ring, Isildur's Bane (1R1)
*Frodo, Reluctant Adventurer (2C102)

Sites
(1) Hobbiton Woods (2U116)
(2) Trollshaw Forest (1U334)
(3) Council Courtyard (1C337)
(4) Mithril Mine (1U345)
(5) The Bridge of Khazad-dum (1C349)
(6) Dimrill Dale (1U350)
(7) Anduin Confluence (1U353)
(8) Shores of Nen Hithoel (1U359)
(9) Summit of Amon Hen (1C362)

Fellowship (36)
1x *Gimli, Dwarf of the Mountain-race (2P121)
1x *Gloin, Friend to Thorin (2R7)
1x *Thrarin, Dwarven Smith (1U27)
1x *Farin, Dwarven Emissary (1C11)
1x *Fror, Gimli's Kinsman (2C6)
4x Till Durin Wakes Again (2C14)
3x Axe Strike (1C3)
4x Delving (1C6)
2x Flurry of Blows (2C5)
2x Power According to His Stature (1R308)
2x *Book Of Mazarbul (3R1)
1x *Gimli's Helm (1R15)
2x *Sting (1R313)
3x Dwarven Axe (1C9)
3x Dwarven Bracers (12U5)
3x Hand Axe (2C10)
2x Bounder

Shadow (36)
4x Goblin Armory (1R173)
2x Goblin Swarms (1R183)
2x They Are Coming (1C196)
1x *Cave Troll of Moria, Scourge of the Black Pit (1R165)
1x *The Balrog, Flame of Udun (2R52)
2x *Ulaire Nertea, Messenger of Dol Guldur (1U234)
4x Goblin Backstabber (1C174)

4x Goblin Scavengers (1C179)
4x Moria Scout (1C191)

But I would remove Troll and Gimlis helm and maybe add Gimli Son of Gloin.
Also if ur worried about swarm maybe some Hobbit Stealth instead of PATHS

If you are worried about the Balrog, throw in a few copies of Hobbit Stealth and let Frodo take care of the Balrog.

Actually, you can in Fellowship block. See O Elbereth Gilthoniel. The rule was made with tower block, so FotR block, a lot of people play that you can.

Actually, that rule was made after Reflections because of ARB's. In regards to Towers Block, see Frodo's Cloak. Wink

Your deck looks great... I decent way to make dwarves work in FOTR is also to use Realm of Dwarrodelf and have a huge draw deck. Strenght +3 every turn is great.

I would suggest starting the party field and add a bilbo, well-spoken Gentlehobbit or 2 to take acre of some conditions... you play plenty of tales, can always sac one or two.

CAuse I played against dwarves with my meatgrinder (UTWE, ORc Bowmen, Hate) and its an autoloss for dwarves.... even with him having Greatest Kingdom turn 1.

You're kidding? Dwarves/Moria cycles like crazy, I have a deck even bigger than this one and usually only have 10-12 card in deck by site 9. And delving is critical if you don't get the Book of Mazarbul too early.

Add another They Are Coming and Goblin Swarms.

Remove the 3 copies of Ulaire Nertea, Messenger of Dol Guldur and replace with two copies of Ulaire Enquea. I would dump the two Goblin Flankers and four Moria Scouts and replace with four Goblin Sneaks. These guys are great for getting that perfect site eight/site nine swarm with such a small draw deck.

Personally, I would remove the four Goblin Backstabbers and the four Goblin Scrabblers. Then add three Guard Commanders.

Now you are down to 34 cards with a guaranteed kick-#$&*@! last Shadow phase.

As for the good guys, you have to use Gimli, Dwarf of Erebor with this deck. If you have that Cave Troll a little early, why not put him beneath your draw deck? Coupled with Goblin Sneak, this guy will run the train. I have always found dwarves to be about endurance until card stacking came about, so:
Drop one Gimli's Helm
Drop one Dwarf Guard
Drop three Dwarven Armors
Drop three Hand Axes
Drop four Flurry of Blows
Drop one Till Durin Wakes Again
Drop two Power According to His Stature

Add one Greatest Kingdom of My People or Bilbo, Well Spoken Gentle-Hobbit
Add two Gimli's Battle Axe
Add one Dwarven Axe
Add one Grimir, Dwarven Elder
Add two Dwarven Hearts
Add two Bounders
Add one There and Back Again

Use Frodo, Old Bilbo's Heir.

Listen, when it comes to swarm, you have two copies of Sting and so you'll do alright there. Your real concern should be Direct Wounding. Hate destroys this deck.

But good luck!
