I recently went on a bit of a spending spree and have a box each of Reflections and Black Rider (with 36 packs of Return of the King in the mail), so I've decided to open a pack a day and post the contents here. I'll be starting tomorrow with a pack from Black Rider and keep doing this until I get bored with it. Anyone else is welcome to join in!

This mouth wasn't a foil, but yes, 1 foil per 7 packs (which is what the pack lists as approximate frequency) means that I should have found 2.28 foils so far, and I've found 3, so that is a little more frequent than normal.

Of the foils, 1 (Balrog) is masterworks and the other two (Gandalf, Witch-King) are RF. I haven't found stats for how many of the foils should come up as masterworks.

There should just be one per booster box, I think the average is 6 foils per box. The Balrog is a cool card too congrats!

lol from Shadows upward the only foils are rares. They will be the RF sets. From sets 10 and under they are all foiled, common and uncommon too.

How you are able to control your self is beyond me. Nothing can beat the sense of excitement opening a boosterbox. Especially when you are opening one with a dissapointing rare. Sometimes at GCCG I blow like 400 dollars just for the kick of opening fake boosters, lol

It's been a challenge lately, but it was inspired by opening several TT booster boxes in a row (I'd found them for $20 each at Walmart, circa 2006) By half-way through the second box, all I was looking at was the rare. This way I actually consider the commons.

I'm questioning if I will have the same patience when I get a box of reflections.

Well, that's the end of that box. I had fun and think I got my money's worth. For those who were counting foils, the average came out right: 5 RF and 1 O in the box. Later today I'll start a new thread for the next volume of the series: Return of the King
