You are already going to get quite a few tokens on Final Stand, so I would suggest switching in Gandalf, Leader of the Company. He has slightly better combat capabilities than Gandalf, Returned, and he is better support for your fellowship. Finally, I would try very, very hard to include Librarian, Keeper of Ancient Texts. With all the tokens you will be getting, you are guarenteed to get that 2 bonus strength for all your men.

As for shadow suggestions, I like running  Evil Men archery with my  Gandalf Men, since many Evil Men minions have higher strength. Grimbeorn can really save your #$&*@! simply by discarding a few strong minions.

Keep in mind, Barliman Butterbur, Prancing Pony Proprietor, and Albert Dreary have a home site of 1, so they are not healed by Elrond. I would suggest keeping Barliman to pull AWINL from your discard pile, but drop Albert in favor of something else.
