I was concerned they wouldn't have enough material to make two movies, but with the expanded Gandalf story this shouldn't be an issue.  It's also nice to see a movie about dwarves.

Also I kinda wish the last shot had been of Bilbo seeing the ring.

The dwarves looked fricking awesome. Can't wait to see Smaug and the spiders. This is gonna be so fricking sweeeettt! Can't wait...oh man.....

I'm grumpy they present Kili as the "cute young" dwarf, he's meant to be younger, but still a dwarf, not some boyband singer.

Still, everything else looked good. In that one part where Bilbo insists he's a Baggins I was reminded of Ian Holm's Bilbo a bit--curt and snappy. Smiley

I hope they release a TCG themed around the Hobbit, but who knows...
