it's easy, that thing that it's like a "y" upside down is an "e" the thing that its like a "T" is an "l" and so on. it was just pure association...

Wow, that's actually really sad. There weren't many Tengwar cards... you'd think it wouldn't take TOO much time to get it right. And unfortunately as Lemon already pointed out, it doesn't surprise anyone.

There actually another error in tengwar i dont know if anyone is aware of. If you compare the cave trolls strength or vitality i cant remember to something else with a tengwar number it shows he actually has the wrong number. He's either ridiculously weak or strong. Someone can find out im sure. Anyway lol point is the Cave Troll is errored as well.

Darn, and there was me thinking they at least respected Tolkien's Tengwar (if not balance) in the last few sets. O_o

D obviously thought that they could throw in some pseudo-random tengwar characters and hope that none would be the wiser, and that no one would find out. I just resent this.

Wow...... that's funny. How did you learn to read tengwar? That's crazy! Appendix of LOTR. Furthermore, that's an atrocious Tengwar transliteration. It reads more like..."Cwptiwn of the nen(e)". (That's a long "i" and a short "e", with a silent "e" at the end, by the way)

well, the silent "e" at the end is correct, but it's obvious it's incorrect english, the single presence of three letters where there should be 4 (nen)... they dont care even about the text of the card (PLUS 1)

Actually..."Nine" could be done with two "n" Tengwar, with two dots above and one dot below the second one. (Yeah...I like to optimize my Tengwar writing)

Apparently the Tengwar Saruman translates to: • Saruman, Captain of the Nine Riders Minion • Wizard Strength; 14 Vitality: 4 Site: 3 Damage +1. Fierce. Lurker. (Skirmishes involving lurker minions must be resolved after any others.)When you play Saruman, name a culture. Each companion of that culture is strength +1. ""White!" he sneered. "It serves as a beginning.""

Wow, now that was some lazy on Decipher's part, but it's not like we were supposed to expect quality work after RotK, right?
I actually pulled out my WotR Anthology set just to check it out for myself.

Actually, I think it's his site number. I'm fairly sure it says 3 instead of 4. I'd have to find my copy somewhere and check, but I'm feeling lazy. Heh.

It's fairly easy, actually. Go ahead, seach the web. I bet you can learn it in about... what? 2-3 hours, tops? Then, just having a printout with the symbols to look up if you forget one will do, and you'll be writing in Tengwar in no time! Now, to find a use for it...

Yeah, it's not a great ice-breaker, don't try it when you're just getting to know each other. But considering she used to walk with a copy of The One Ring (which I gave to her, cute story also) in her wallet, it wasn't that much of a stretch. And I also had three other female friends of mine that learned it by herself to switch notes with me, so that makes 4 that didn't think it was THAT nerdy. However, what strikes me as the most odd is that no one even noticed the tombstone part...
