Okay, My biggest question. When Sam, Great Elf Warrior Says. Sam is Strength +1 for Each  Companion you can sopt. Does that mesn he can spot, because it says YOU not Sam? Plese Explain. |

It's always the player doing the spotting. You're required to spot Sam ("can spot"), and he does get a strength +1 bonus from himself.

What was that scream?  And that's correct, if Sam had said "for each other companion you can spot," he wouldn't be included in the bonus. |

He can only spot a maximum of 2 hobbits, the ones next to him in the fellowship. Because he's so flat he can't see over the other card to spot the rest. |

Clearly the best recourse is to array the fellowship around him. (If your opponent asks, just say you're keeping him safe in the middle of the herd.)

You can use a card holder to have him upright at the end then he can see them all.
And if you put a mirror at the other end, he can see everyone twice!!
