I know elves aren't by any means the best type of deck to run, but I'm sure you all know they hold a special little place in my cold, dead, emo heart.  LOL!

So I'm wondering - what's the best decklist you could come up with for elves? Would you go three color (B/G/W) or two color? Mass Elf tokens? Mass Wolf tokens? Huge creatures (Gaia's Antherm + Glorious Anthem  How YOU Doin'? ) Or something else entirely?

Mind you that this deck is meant for RL more than MWS, so if you include something like 4x Garruk, try and think of something that it'd be replaceable with.

Wow. I was just working on an elf deck. Weird.

I'll post mine here when I'm finished.

Edit:

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
    5 [SHM] Swamp (2)
    6 [LRW] Forest (2)
    4 [SHM] Reflecting Pool
    4 [EVE] Twilight Mire
    4 [LRW] Gilt-Leaf Palace

// Creatures
    4 [10E] Llanowar Elves
    3 [MOR] Rhys the Exiled
    4 [LRW] Wren's Run Vanquisher
    4 [SHM] Safehold Elite
    4 [EVE] Talara's Battalion
    4 [SHM] Farhaven Elf
    2 [LRW] Nath of the Gilt-Leaf

// Spells
    4 [MOR] Mind Shatter
    4 [LRW] Nameless Inversion
    4 [LRW] Thoughtseize

I thought I'd try to get a Disruption thing going a bit. It seems to work good with elves. Imperious Perfect is missing, I'm gonna test an see if I really need him.

I'm playing Elves in Standard right now. It looks something like this:

Main Deck:
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Imperious Perfect
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Chameleon Colossus
4 Civic Wayfinder
4 Thoughtseize
4 Nameless Inversion
3 Garruk Wildspeaker
3 Profane Command
1 Loxodon Warhammer
2 Shriekmaw
3 Treetop Village
4 Mutavault
4 Gilt-leaf Palace
4 Llanowar Wastes
2 Twilight Mire
4 Forest
2 Swamp

Sideboard:
2 Faerie macabre
1 Liliana Vess
1 Shriekmaw
3 Kitchen Finks
3 Raking Canopy
2 Cloudthresher
3 Bitterblossom

Why Macabre when you could be running Relic of Progenitus?

Mostly, because it's free (and also because there IS the slight possibility of me needing a flyer or just a body someday, although of course this is an added bonus, I don't take this into consideration at all, but it's nice to have possibilities). I favor the element of surprise better, since when they see it coming, they just play around it. Sure, this also has its advantages, you can either go for tempo or go for the throat. Relic would fit in nicely with gaining tempo. However, most problems I have are with troublesome Kitchen Finks and Reveillark/Puppeteer shenanigans, and either way, I like Macabre better, because it neuters the play they were carefully planning in the latter, and it screws up their combat math in the former. But if graveyard abuse becomes an issue (and I can see it becoming due to the Unearth mechanic), then Relic is definitely better (although I expect artifact hate to become abundant, so you'll just be giving them an extra target, but it's well worth it).
