Title: Double Deceit?
Post by: ANGRY on March 14, 2017, 09:18:37 PM
If you have two copies of Deceit down, can one protect the other?

I would say yes

Yes. It's the reason why New Awakened is ever played, as it's one of the few cards that can get rid of Shadow conditions for no Twilight cost. Bilbo, Well Spoken Gentlehobbit is another, and Namarie can sometimes power through with enough tokens.
Otherwise it's tricky out there against Gollum.

The ultimate answer to Deceit is Gladden Homestead + Deep in Thought.

I want to be sure.
If You have deceit x2 on the table and Your opponent plays deep in thought what will happen?
a) all conditions are discarded
b) 2 deceit save themselves and other conditions, cost is 1 for each saved card
c) 1st deceit saves all other conditions for 1 and 2nd deceit saves the first one for 1

It’s a bit different than with the scourcing of the shire so if anyone could help I would appreciate.

It's scenario b. Your opponent plays Deep in Thought, and each Deceit now has a response action to save another condition. Your first copy saves your second, your second copy saves your first, and after that it doesn't really matter which copy saves what condition.
