Title: A handful of random cards, including an Ally Shadowfax and a big friggin' gate.

[2] •!Shadowfax, Horse of !the White Rider [Gandalf]

Damage +2. To play, exert Gandalf.
At the start of the maneuver phase, you may exert !Shadowfax to play a mount from your hand or discard pile.
Assignment: Exert !Shadowfax and spot Gandalf to allow !Shadowfax to participate in skirmishes until the regroup phase.
"'See how they run! There is Hasufel, and there is my friend !Arod beside him! But there is another that strides ahead: a very great horse. I have not seen his like before.'"

[3] •Boromir, The True-hearted [Gondor]
Companion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Signet: Aragorn
Knight. Ranger.
For each [Gondor] character assigned to a skirmish, Boromir is strength +1 and damage +1.

[6] •Gate of Gondor [Gondor]

"Very strong it might be, wrought of steel and iron..."

To play, discard 2 [Sauron] cards from your hand.
Each time a character bearing a Ring exerts, add [4].

Spot Sam to play an [Elven] or [Shire] possession from your hand onto your Ring-bound Hobbit.
"'Maybe you remember them putting the ropes in the boats, as we started off... Years ago, it seems. "It may be a help in many needs," he said: Haldir, or one of those folk. And he spoke right.'"

I don't love a fighting Shadowfax, personally, as I can only picture the horse being hewn in two by the wimpiest of orcs.

Boromir seems fine. A strong card for a strong character.

Gate of Gondor is neat, but I almost wonder if I would ever transfer it to a minion, only keeping it out to keep my conditions safe.

By His Arts is a card that was probably needed in the post-Reflections world. Doesn't seem overpowered.

I cannot imagine why a deck would have multiple copies of Elven Rope (if even one), but I guess it is fine for replaying a discarded Hobbit Sword or the like if you have another copy in hand.

I tried to avoid that by giving Shadowfax strong enough stats to be able to trample some of the weaker minions. But yeah, Shadowfax might get axed.

Boromir seems fine. A strong card for a strong character.

Boromir is fun to write cards for. It feels like he got screwed over in the game. I'm still salty about the DoMT reprint in !Black Rider.

I hadn't considered that but I like that it could be used that way.

Awesome!

It's a mostly-useless card, to be sure. I'm writing these randomly so sometimes I land on a page and point to a quote and end up with a go-nowhere card.
