Title: Fights against pirates

I really struggle versus corsairs (moria navy or otherwise), what are some good counter strategies? I know roll of thunder to be useful and anything which discards possessions, but I find that discarding possessions is a very specific counter measure. What do you find useful against corsairs? Sprinting to site 9? Crawling from site to site? Rage quitting (just kidding, don't do that).

Moria Navy is tough, but I found the best counter is to not be possession-heavy. I have a feeling that Corsair Marauder was not intended to actually discard free peoples' possessions by the nature of being played, but he exists and is a mainstay in Corsair decks.

Blood Runs Chill is the best way to get rid of Corsair possessions, I find, as Durin III or Gimli with Ring of Fury do a good job of clearing out support areas. Catapult is an interesting card, but can be discarded via Corsair Marauder.

I got the same feeling. But you're right, he exists. I guess I'll start fielding Galadriel, LR ;) just kidding. Thanks for the pointers.
