Title: Sets and Formats on the Wiki
Post by: eomund on June 06, 2019, 05:41:44 AM
Hi all! I've recently been bitten by the LotR TCG bug again (it seems to happen once every few years), and for whatever reason decided to start creating pages for the various sets and formats on the wiki. If anyone has any comments/suggestions about them, I'd love to hear it! So far I've created

I've also been thinking about the formats table, and it's a bit of a beast. What do people think about replacing it with something slicker, like

http://lotrtcgwiki.com/wiki/new_format_table

It doesn't show as much information, but it takes up a lot less space. Once the individual set/format pages are created, I think they're a better place to include information like "which formats allow Reflections?"

Let me know what you all think! The formats table is a change that affects a lot of pages, so I didn't want to just change it without first getting some feedback.

Nice work! There was a big push about a year ago which got all of set 1 completed in the wiki, but most of us seem to have taken breaks afterwards and the wiki's been a bit neglected before you came along.

jdizzy - Did you just mean to not forget to make a page for poor man's format? I'm going to be focusing on the official formats first.

Phallen - I totally understand ... I find I get into LotR for a month or two every few years, then leave it again. Hopefully my contributions to the wiki are helpful to people!
