Title: Two Decks for Teaching Purposes
Post by: badash56 on January 31, 2020, 08:20:39 AM
Hi all, I am getting back into the game after being away since probably 2003.  I have a few friends who are interested in trying a demo and was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for two balanced teaching decks.  I decided to go with Fellowship block since that was the main format when I used to play.

I know there are a lot of tournament level decklists here, do you think those are ok to hand out to someone totally new?  Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

Have you looked at the starter decks from FOTR? I think they should be ok to start with.

As far as Starter Decks go, the Mines of Moria starters are the most balanced in my opinion. Gandalf/Moria and Gimli/Sauron.

I'd give those a try! Don't forget you and your friends can play online at Gemp! (http://www.gempukku.com/gemp-lotr) Hope to see you there.
