Title: Frodo Signets - Freeps Only

starting
Frodo, SoD
Legolas, Greenleaf
Gimli DotMR

Companions
Pippin, HoSI
Merry, FtS

Gandalf, Friend of the Shirefolk

It's a nine walkers. I noticed that Frodo comps are good healers and very self sufficent.

Post by: Cw0rk on June 14, 2009, 10:16:51 PM: Here is something you may want to consider... what happens if you Bow of the Galadhrim and Long knives of legolas at site 1 and you draw Legolas at site 6... your hand is clogged. Same with Gandalf's and Gimli's gear...

I guess your only option is too bid 3 or 4 and start and play Gandalf's cart. I suggest starting with Gimli, DotMR and add 1 Axe.

That would break his Frodo signet theme!

However, c10ckw0rk is right... if you rely that much on Gandy's cart, you'll have to be SURE that you start it. You could also do things a bit differently and play Gimli and Legolas as starting, then fetch Merry and Pippin with Farmer Maggot's Fields. Could help...

I was thinking I might trade out a pipe for gimli's pipe, but I can't decide which one. I like that Gimli's counts as a twofer, but I really like aragorn and frodo's. That leaves gandalf's which is the only burden removal of the deck... sigh.
