If I have Sam, Innocent Traveler and Frodo Frenzied fighter out with any other ring-bearer, will the one ring be transferred to Sam if Frodo dies?
-
Nope. That was clarified in the CRD during Reflections. Frodo must be the ring-bearer.
-
They didnt bother to clarify Held though >:(
-
Additional question:
If I have a non-Frodo-Ringbearer, may I play a Frodo with the keyword "ringbearer?
-
Frodo, Frenzied Fighter is the only Frodo you can play without the ring.
-
Imagine following Siuation:
Galadriel, ring-bearer
Frodo, Frenzied Fighter
Sam, great Elf Warrior
Galadriel is assinged to a lot of minions. May Frodo die in his skirmish, to make Sam the new Ring-bearer (instead of Galadriel)?
-
No, the ring can only be transferred to Sam when both of the following are true:
- Frodo is the Ringbearer
- Frodo is killed
- Sam states that when Frodo dies you can transfer the ring to him (Sam, Bearer of Great Need is the only version of Sam that does not say this)
-
Sam, Bearer of Great Need is the only version of Sam that does not say this
And Sam, Steadfast Friend.

Darn, well that eliminates an idea I had. :gp: for the lot of you.

I was about to ask that same question about Sam, Great Elf Warrior, Frodo,Frenzied Fighter and Smeoagol RB.
-
Just run a Frodo, Sam Great Elf Warrior and Falls of Rauros. Then drop Frenzied Fighter.
