This Shadow is absolute murder. There is no need to run, they WILL DIE. Unless they pack site liberation which is highly unlikely, and even if they do, you can still cause IMMENSE damage via Sauron/Whispers and Isengard Ruined. Its also one of the cheaper builds, with only a few (albeit hard to get) rares.

Rapt Hillman + Pavise + Gothmog, Lieutenant of Morgul is an evil combo

not really, because rapt hillman says "maneuver:..." and you normally play gothmog during shadow phase ;)

I mean that even if the free people use Hillman's drawback, they can only liberate one site of three you controlled.

I played this deck and at first I couldn't get it to work until site 6. Using dwarwen insane cycling I got an all-shadow hand and played Rapt Hillman with Pavise and Vengeful Wild Man with Wandering Hillman combos, controlling all 5 sites. The next turn I played Vengeful Wild Man to add more treaths and then Gothmog. They died painfully

In some ways I prefer not to use Pavise on Rapt Hillman so they cant liberate. If each secures a site and then dies, thats 4 sites, and then as long as you have Saruman, Whispers, White Hand Invader, Gothmog and Swarthy Hillman its maniacal.

I used this deck on GE and the way it ended was cruel. He had 6 companions, moved to site 9... Anduin Banks! Played 2 Vengeful Wild Man, added 6 threats and a harsh death for all. Admittedly I had the sweetest Shadow draw ever.

That's not evil. That's a warning to breaking the rule of 5 against Evil Men, the only culture that still enforces it.

Eh...choke like heck.
