I, for one, have no experience with online tournaments whatsoever (except the leagues in Gemp). If it is gonna be FotR or TTT block, I am in, I might consider RotK but I do not know that block very much. Later sets, I have never played.

What I was always hoping to try are the tournaments in the Gemp just to see it work for once. I am ok with any format I guess and I could play mostly afternoon times on weekdays and can be flexible on the weekends.

Hey thank you for the response! I'll add you then. You know what I'l do then? I think I' just create another thread for the gemp tournaments. The problem with them is, that you play the whole tournament immidiently, so everybdy has t be online at the same time and on that thread we can speak up the time, k?

Ok, so I figured out to try this sort of tournament to get people trying it. So whats about starting a Swiss-tournament next week with minimum 4 players?
Format will probably either be Fellowship or Movie, depending on what you want to play.

Rules are simple, sign up by leaving a post either here or on Gemp then I will post the pairings here.
You and your opponent have a week time to play your game. Both of you send me a pm with the result as well as a replay. At the end of the week or when everybody played their game, everybody who didn't play his/her game gets a loss.
Then I will announce the standings and the new pairings here again until only one undefeated player is left.

Above is to be discussed.

(sorry Sibiatu, maybe Movie Block later)

You know how it works.

I'm not gonna be able to make that time next week. Is it okay if Hight91 and I just play sometime between now and then if we get the chance?

You only can play on Wednesdays, can't you? Whats about next week weekend would that be possible?
If not I'd say infinite time until everybody played since we're only 4 and it's our first try.
