Cubes & Drafting
« on: September 09, 2019, 05:36:41 PM »
Hello!

My experience with the game has always been constructed. As I continue to collect cards, I'm starting to wonder about how building a cube would work, or how the game was meant to be drafted with the draft packs. As I've played the game with my friends, having another option to build up some starters isn't a bad idea either.

Thanks!

I also wondered this! Went to DragonCon recently where they did a "cube draft" of the cards. Had no idea how it worked (partly because I came late).

I also wonder what Expanded Middle Earth draft boxes are, and how they worked--was one of the expanded cards in each pack? Did it come with extra rares? What block did the cards come from? Etc.

I figure it might one day be fun to buy a Fellowship/Two Towers draft box (since Expanded is so pricey) and get some friends into trying the game out.
A wizard is never late...nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Each EME draft box had 2x of 5 fixed EME cards and 4 packs of Bloodlines.  I did a pack-a-day on them here: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,11303.0.html
