Another question regarding Watcher in the water http://lotrtcgwiki.com/wiki/lotr19021?do=backlink, Can you play other non tentacle minions such as gollum, plotting deceiver afterwards? I know it says to discard all other except tentacles, but after you play it with however many tentacles you have and every other non tentacle has been discarder, if any shadow was left, can you play any other minion type? Thanks!

Also I will add that the original Watcher in the water, keeper of westgate unlike the newer set 19 one, says that while you can spot watcher, discard all other non tentacle minions where as the newer watcher does not (just says discard all other minions).

Decipher didn't do us any favors with the wording on Many-Tentacled Creature, but no, its ability is not limited to "when you play" or "during the shadow phase".  It will continue to discard other non-tentacle minions as long as its gametext is active.
