Sauron - the horny one - abuses Roaming Orcs

that's how i play them...

4x Advance Scout
4x Advance Marauder
4x Advance Captain
3x Advance Regular
3x Troll of Cirith Gorgor
2x The Mouth of Sauron, Lieutenant of Barad-dur
2x Sauron, Dark Lord of Mordor

3x Flames Within
3x Ithil Stone
2x Grond, Hammer of the Underworld
1x Sceptre of the Dark Lord
1x Throne of the Dark Lord


total: 32


the main strategie is to kill companions round by round.  a troll of cirith gorogor + throne + advance marauder is a potential strength 15+ , damange +3 and fierce minion.
- sauron in regions 2+3 comes in play really cheap and while wearing his sceptre he's a nasty guy. 
- you can use flames within in to push your orc.
- ithil stone makes you draw cards and play a mionion for less twilight costs.
- use grond to discard what ever you like. the greatest thing: makes the troll stronger, too.

the main ploblems i've got is against direct damange and choke decks.... so that any suggestions are
wellcome!
good ideas will earn some

...some thoughts from my side...

you have to pay the roaming penalty all the time... so you may reduce the site number or cut the roaming penalty... you make your minions already roaming by the way...
or use a gollum "engine": it draws him, led astray... sweeter meats! --> gollum skulker with incited?
Gollum makes pool and makes your minions cheap - you profit in two ways
Gollum prevents direct damage
Gollum push your minions (lurker!)

...then you could cut flames within and a few other orcs perhaps... and you can also exert Gollum for making Sauron cheap!

...but I guess, this is not that what you expected to hear... I will keep thinking about it...

well, that's nearly the same i thought about, too. "it draws him" is a brilliant idea:  for you.
all in all that might be about 10  cards - what should i drop for them??

Orc pursuer (you may exert this minion for Sauron or for Ithil-Stone)
...

cut flames within (Gollum skulker pushes)
perhaps cut the mouth of sauron

so these 5 cards you could replace for 1x Gollum Skulker, 3x captured by the ring, 1x it draws him...

but I am not sure if we are on the right way...

i'm not sure if 1 it draws him really helps, but it's a good way to have a chance against choke decks...hmmm....

thank's for your suggestions, but i must think about them for a while if they are useful or not.
- gorgoroth assassin is awesome, but i only have 2 grond and nothing to control sites. so he isn't useful for this deck
- i used rank and file for a long time... it wasn't successful, because it's unique and doesn't help to prevent wounds - flames within is much better
- possession  orcs aren't really good i prefer playing 3 minions then 3 possessions


anyone else with suggestions out there?

no, follow it with great interest. Never built a roaming sauron minion deck, allthough wanting it for some time

i like the  theme, so i can change the following:

1x Advance Marauder for 1x Gollum, Skulker
2x The Mouth of Sauron, Lieutenant of Barad-dur for 2x Captured by the Ring
3x Flames Within for 1x Captured by the Ring,  2x It draws him
1x Ithil Stone for 1x Captured by the Ring


i'd like to include some other cards too: Fat One wants it, Incited, Sweeter Meats... and maybe Led Astray & Sauron's Hatred

Olorin and i thought about adding Mordor Fighter & Let Her deal with them...  i don't know what else i should cut, because the deck can't be larger then 32 cards!

yeah... captured by the ring and Sauron's hatred is a good combo I think... so you play Gollum for "free" got a pusher... can use it draws him... makes your roaming minion -3... as it can Ithil stone... perhaps led astray wouldn't hurt... ;-)

...or try to get initiative... to play let her deal with them again and again... which could be really funny...!
