4x Goblin Scimitar (1C180

Strategy
Play Bill the Pony right from the start with Sam, then choke at site 4 and 5 with Gimli. Gimli can be sacrificed if necessary vs the Balrog or later on. Otherwise this fellowship works quite well, the only issue may be Moria swarm so maybe I will have to add more protection, even though Frodo gets quite big with A promise. Melilot Brandybuck is my burden protection, but its gonna be hard to add many burdens anyway with little twilight.

The shadow side is quite effective. Most kills are going to happen late in the game, at site 8 or 9. Moria Archer Troop is awesome. Relics of Moria gets the sword back and add twilight when I have Goblin Armory out.

I would reccommend Flame of Udun, not Durin's Bane.

I would also recommend Goblin spear over Goblin Scimitar.

I would also recommend Goblin spear over Goblin Scimitar.

With Goblin Armory, there is no way to go other than Goblin Scimitar.

[Moria] archery is the only time I approve of Hosts of Thousands.

I definitely recommend Pathfinder to make sure you get Brown Lands out. Very important!

No one has any love for Goblin Archer!

Oh, and Dwarven Axe over Gimli's Battle Axe, definitely, if you are using him as a stepping stone!

However, Goblin Spear allows you to add burdens, which is very important. Put one on a balrog and it gets icky fast, esp. since they can't assign it to a throwaway hobbit. Dark Places is also good to make sure you get your sites out, and provide your unique minions with a strength bonus.

Good idea ket. I'll definitely switch GBA for Dwarven Axe. I may even remove Gimli's helm.

I prefer Goblin Scimitar over Goblin Spear.

Yeah, but it can really help make Gimli a permanent stumbling block. It's preference in this deck. I'd keep it. Others may not.

The reason why I first placed Gimli's Helm in there is to help vs the Balrog. But its quite obvious that's its not gonna work because he would be overwhelmed anyway.
