oh don't think this is crap. I actually like the shadow-idea. Yet I don't understand the balrog in it. But maybe you can explain. Can't you find place for Gats?
I also don't think the fs very strange, but a bit weak against burdendeck's. Why no Arod, Rohirrim Steed?
For the rest I think this deck is fine. Unusual archerydeck, but fine!

Shadow is cool, but Legolas, Woodland Emissary, Legolas' Bow, A Grey Ship are all crap. I don't think I'll ever play them in a Deck...
Anyway, Garrison of Gondor is a cool card, but it willbe really hard to drop it, if you don't discard it, it will just clog your hand. Maybe just run a couple of Dernhelms Blade which is a great card in wounding Decks with LoI and Blood Runs Chill x2 seems also a bit too much for me.

As I see the thing, there are better possibilites to choose a Legolas:

in Movie: Greenleaf, wherever you want, Dauntless Hunter in... yes, Dauntless Hunter Decks, and of course Legolas, FM in Glimpse of Fate Decks.

As for Standard, I'd rather use of the Woodland Realm (as you said) against Hunters cus' you will face Hunter minions. Sure.
And if you run Telepathy, of the Grey company is waaaay better than this guy.
