Evil Men Archery
« on: April 11, 2010, 01:26:29 PM »
I got this list from somewhere, not sure where. I worry that it has too few minions for too large a deck, let me know what you think.

Evil Men Archery:
2x Countless Companies (12U)
4x Howdah (13U)
2x Pursuing Horde (15U)
2x Rapid Reload (15U)
4x Elevated Fire (11R)
3x Precision Targeting (11R)
1x Saruman, Servant of Sauron (17R)
2x Black Gate Sentry (15U)
3x Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings (15R)
3x Mouth of Sauron, Messenger of Mordor (12S)
2x Voice of the Desert, Southron Troop (13R)
4x Archer of Harad (11U)
1x Fletcher of Harad (11R)
1x Mumak Rider (12R)
4x Pavise (11C)

Help most appreciated!

1x Saruman, Servant of Sauron (17R)
2x Black Gate Sentry (15U)
3x Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings (15R)
2x Pursuing Horde (15U)
2x Rapid Reload (15U)

All these cannot be used as they are Hunters block.

Add more Fletcher of Harad, Mumak Rider. Lurtz, Minion of the White Wizard can make for a nice surprise.

Hm, so the above decklist would only work in Expanded or Open? What should I replace to get the Fletcher, Mumak and Lurtz, Minion of the White Wizard in?

This is War of the Ring block, so only sets 11-14. Switch out the Hunters block cards for the ones I listed.

Grima, Footman of Saruman and Ferocious Haradrim are good additions also.

Does anyone have an Evil Men archery deck they're proud of that they want to post? Everyone keeps saying how my decks are weak.  :P

4x Archer of Harad
2x Ferocious Haradrim
4x The Mouth of Sauron, Messenger of Mordor
4x Mumak Rider
4x Southron Murderer
4x Caravan From the South
4x Howdah
4x Precision Targeting

Pack the adventure deck with plains sites. Use Mouth of Sauron to pull your conditions from the draw deck. No one will call your decks weak ever again.

Edited to add:

4x Desert Wind
2x Elevated Fire

Any Evil men archery deck without Rapid Reload will never be at full potential.
