The Bomb

Here is one of my most successful and most evil movie decks. The shadow works great against almost everything, the fellowship can have some rough patches, but serves its  purpose.

1x   0P34   • Gimli's Helm
3x   9R+3   • Durin III, Dwarven Lord
1x   9R5   • Linnar, Dwarven Lord
1x   9R10   • Sindri, Dwarven Lord
1x   9R11   • Úri, Dwarven Lord
1x   6C45   • Sméagol, Poor Creature
3x   1C9   Dwarven Axe
3x   2U3   Dwarven Bracers

1x   7R7   • Gimli, Feared Axeman
2x   5R116   • Sting, Baggins Heirloom
2x   7U3   Battle Tested
2x   7U14   Slaked Thirsts

Free Peoples Total   30

Shadow Draw Deck

3x   10U92   Mordor Pillager
2x   7R267   Din of Arms
3x   7R316   • Troop Tower
1x   8U94   Gorgoroth Agitator
4x   8R95   Gorgoroth Assassin
1x   7R57   • Fat One Wants It
3x   7C53   Captured by the Ring

1x   10U44   High Vantage
1x   9R+28   • Gollum, Dark as Darkness
2x   7U278   Gorgoroth Soldier
1x   4C187   Uruk Foot Soldier
1x   1R125   Greed

Shadow Total   30

So the point here is to empty your draw deck before you opponent reaches site 8. On the way, control as many sites as possible. Bid 2, go first. Get prep out of your deck with site 1. Double if you can, if not no worries. If you draw rest by blind night early, discard it and pick it up later with the ring. Otherwise, try and save it as it may allow you to drop the bomb an extra time if needed. Get the following stacked on preparations: 4x Southron archer, Gothmog, High Vantage (if they are running Greenleaf/gorns bow) and CbtR. If they have 6 or more companions, drop high vantage and gothmog and go for the uruk hai and greed. Once your deck is empty, shuffle these into it with RBBN. Draw at site 8, use the threats to get enough twilight to play it all, and boom. 4+5*number of sites controlled, sometimes upwards of 30 wounds. And, if you kept RbbN and didn't use your ring, you can do it again next site if you opponent survives. Also, if you manage 2-3 sites by site 6 and have a couple in hand, a mini bomb is an option. Don't go over 5 companions if you can help it, unless MAYBE you have slacked thirsts stacked for enquea protection. The reason for the extra is that they have a bad habit of dying :P Slacked is also there for grima protection.

I wonder whether you have enough sitecontrol options. I would certainly add the Berserker, since you add threats. Like the bomb idea though, it has proved to be very reliable.

Somebody set us up the bomb!

Very nice. I was on the receiving end of 16-20 archery and it mowed down my otherwise fine Freeps. :)

Good call on Berserker. Didn't even think of him. Usually 3 sites is enough to mow down the freeps if they are running less than 6 companions. 3 sites makes for 19 wounds with gothmog and the archers. More than 6 can be trouble, hence greed.

I just got the cards to make this deck in real life... I can't wait to see the reaction of my playgroup XD Slightly modded in real life for a different meta than online, and it has to be able to take down 2 players instead of one. Shouldn't be a problem with 2x RBBN, stack one and shuffle it back instead of gothmog or something.
