Orc-bane with archery

This deck in play testing wins about half of the time. I was advised to use "Elrond, Herald to Gil-galad" for healing and "Release the Angry Flood" for against nazgul, but I have not playtested those cards much yet. Took out "intimidate" and might want to put it back in.

The general strategy use orc-bane with Frodo and Gandalf for wounding during the Maneuver phase, and then finishing the minions during the archery phase with Aragorn's Bow and Greenleaf. Strength of Spirit allows for extra exertions. Sleep Caradhras stops those all those vicious conditions. Fireworks recycles all the events in the deck. Narya gives Gandalf vitality along with his staff that keeps twilight down.

Nazgul have killed the deck. Sometimes I don't sting or glamdring (or if really unlucky any companions) making for a short game. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How do you fare vs Keeper of Isengard? I find Orc-bane too expensive. You can used them so much until Frodo and Gandalf are exhausted. And then a well timed hate causes problems.

Yeah I agree,
I thought about using betrayal of isengard and intimidate.
the problem with using betrayal of isengard though, is Sleep Caradhras. Yet for the most part, they are attacking different kinds of minion decks.

I find all the cards together: Betrayal, Sleep and Orc-bane causes way too much exertions as a whole. Gandalf only has 4 vitality.

Orc-bane also works with Sting.

Yeah I try to use Sting before I use Glamdring. With Betrayal and Caradhras, usually I don't use both in one game-Betrayal would be discarded by Caradhras anyways. Still, exerting too much is a problem- besides Strength of Spirit I don't know If there is anything else to help that. I play the healing Aragorn to help a little, and 4 copies of Legolas and Aragorn, but is there anything else? Maybe Elrond?

I know orcbane only works with sting. But its causing a lot of strain on companions, and I fear the deck loses hands down nazgul, sauron wounds and uruks. You can only wound a given minion once with OB, so a troop of uruk hai spells doom. Not to mention you cant do anything against nazgul and black breath.

And what happens if you dont draw Glamdring or sting till turn 4? There are only 4 in the 64 card deck.

Set aside the fact that OB isnt a good card to start with, its definitely not a card to build a deck around. Its more an extra side card to help vs moria by example.

Elrond HTGG and vilya is good for healing cause you need that. You have only KiE to heal both Gandalf and Frodo.
