In Expanded, I more often see players cycle Leaving Forever around with Gil-galad, High King of the Noldor. And Namarie of course.

I actually use both but for two different elf decks in expanded.  The deck that uses Company Of Archers has Gandalf in it and I use Brooding On Tomorrow too.  The reason for Company of Archers is just in case Brooding On Tomorrow gets discarded and because it is cheaper.  The deck that runs Lothlorien Guides is an elf only deck.  I don't mind giving out the 2 pool in that one.  My last thought is that discarding conditions in the maneuver phase (Lothlorien Guides) is usually a little more helpful than the archery phase (Company Of Archers).

I agree with sgtdraino that Namarie is more common for elf condition discarding in expanded than the two you mentioned.
