Token Dwarves please
« on: October 05, 2008, 09:42:03 PM »
I'm looking for a good Token Dwarf deck build (preferably one which has chain effects, i.e. add a threat to heal Gimli, when Gimli heals, add a token, etc etc. ). Anyone?

Here are some cards I think would be required:
-Gloin, Son of Groin
-Well-Crafted Armor
-Some card which prevents Dwarven conditions being discarded
-Some card allowing Dwarf possessions to come back into play.

I currently only have one Well-Crafted Armor. If anyone has others they want to trade, let me know. I have plenty of Hunters and TD rares, as well as assorted FOTR rares (LOTS), Shadows rares (LOTS), Black Rider rares (some), Bloodlines (some), ROTK (some), etc etc....

Well for starters look into Gimli, Feared Axeman to prevent your dwarven conditions from being discarded . As for your possessions look into Honoring His Kinfolk paired with Ring of Guile or Armor of Khazad (run at least 2 and keep one in your discard pile so when you discard the one you can pull the other and any other [Dwarven] possesion back too). I hope that helps a bit. As for a deck design I will try to figure something out, but I'm sure others here have one ready at hand for you .

and in expanded go for stout and strong. Tokens keep coming for Gloin to use.

Cool, thanks! GP for ya. :)

Now, I really, really need Blood Runs Chill. I'll have 3x Well-crafted Armor total soon, but NO Blood Runs Chill! I knew I shouldn't have sold it back when I was an ignorant LOTR noob. XD

Dang, that sucks. If only Decipher had made more Hunters, Rise of Saruman and TD boosters so we could buy them. There was enough demand. -_-
