Counter-intuitively, Orc Butchery is not very good for discard decks because these decks don't tend to kill enemy characters. On the other hand, Orc Butchery has no limit, so it can potentially discard half a deck by itself (4 copies played is a minimum of 30 cards). Can be used with beatdown to try and wipe an opponent's deck, perhaps to make things easier for the user's fellowship. Even a single copy can be punishing if an opponent has too much cannon fodder. Orc Butchery cannot trigger off an ally's death, but it does count dead allies, so works well with Tower Assassin.
