Some Secret Art of Flame
Game Text: To Play Spot  Orc
Regroup: PLay A condition to place
a token on this card
While there are 3 token on this card, the shadow has initiative
regardless of the free people’s hand
Question: How can i play a condition on a regroup phase?  |

Lord of the Rings Secret Code: Page 827, Section C, Subsection 11.
When a card’s ability contradicts the rules, the card wins. So, you are allowed to play conditions during the regroup phase, through use of the condition’s special ability. |

I think there was something in there about banning Peeps. 
But seriously, in general, when a card contradicts the rules the card will win unless the gameplay of the card has been modified by an erratum or rules clarification.
In the case of secret art of flame, you play the condition in the regroup phase the same way you would during the shadow phase, meet all requirements and pay all costs to play a condition from hand. |
