Abusing the Lorwyn Lands with Changelings to make a killer deck regardless of colors.
--- end description ---

Mana Base (21):

Ancient Ampitheater x 4 RedWhite
Gilt-Leaf Palace x 4 BlackGreen
Auntie’s Hovel x 4 BlackRed
Secluded Glen x 4 BlueBlack
Wanderwine Hub x 4 WhiteBlue
Shimmering Grotto

Creatures

1-drops

Flamekin Harbinger x 4
Treefolk Harbinger x 4

2-drops

Shapesharer x 4
Woodland Changeling x 4

3-drops

Stinkdrinker Daredevil x 3

5-drops

Changeling Titan x 4
Changeling Berserker x 4
Changeling Hero x 4

6-drops

Sunrise Sovereign x 4

Instants/Sorceries:

Nameless Inversion x 4

The point of the deck is to use the Harbingers to grab big creatures and subsequently champion them with said big creatures. Stinkdrinker makes stuff cheaper, Sovereign makes stuff bigger, Shapesharer is just plain SWEET! Woodland changeling can be championed or you can mutate him with Shapesharer into a Titan and begin swinging for...15 with trample if you have the sovereigns out.

This is more of a fun deck, it doesn’t look all that competitive, but I HAD to abuse those new Lorwyn lands with Changelings.

I bet someone else could come up with a better way to do it, though.

Crib Swap deserves a spot in this deck! Also, lose Sovereign, costs too much. Why don’t you try a Zoo? Pack 4 Flamekin Bladewhirl, 4 Goldmeadow Stalwart and 4 Wren’s Run Vanquisher, and THEN the bigger changelings!

I prefer the 1-drop harbingers personally, over the 1-drop reveal to play. Although they are sweet.

They work the same, get championed, but the harbingers grab faster.

So I guess I run some sort of zoo anyway.

But the point is other than powering up with changelings, the point is to power up changelings.

Oh, and you think the Sovereign is to expensive with the Stinkdrinker? What do you recommend for pumping?

Crib Swap is meh. I run changelings already, except those who get championed, and the ones that aren’t changelings, I don’t want changed anyway.

And if I’m doing it for removal, then wouldn’t it be best to just flat-out get rid of the creature?

Yes, but creatures get played, while instants you hold in hand. It’s best to have a fair amount of those. I’d cut Stinkdrinker Daredevil, cut Sunrise Sovereign, and play with the early beaters, and I’d also loose the Harbingers, at least the Treefolk (has nopower). You don’t need to search for changelings, test it out, you have so many of them, you’ll ALWAYS have some in hand anyway. The good thing about the eraly beaters is to makethe decka ggressive enough, ou push damage through, THEN you champion them in the second main phase.

I need to search for the Titans.

I may go for one of the reveal to play guys instead of the Treefolk Harbinger.

No use. They’re made for tribal aggressive decks, so unless you play aggressively, they won’t matter that much. I’d run the trio of them, would be much cooler.
