A quick update on the current status of things....
MR. Lurtzy and NBarden have yet to play Game 1. gil-estel has beaten NK 2-1 and has earned a pass to Round 2. Kralik is currently beating me 1-0, and hopefully we can finish the second (and third, if need be) game(s) this week. TheJord has a 1-0 lead over Glorfindel, and hawkeyespf and Pippin have yet to play Game 1, due to the fact that Pippin has been absent for over a week. And as for Gillian’s competitor, hopefully Dáin will join. According to his final posts before he left he would have arrived home sometime late last night, so hopefully he’ll drop by sometime today.
We’ll get this worked out, and I hope that with a bit of luck a couple more matchups will be finished this week. |

I’m online most days, so I am always ready to play. Problem is, NB is not online usually when I am. |

Game Result: Game 2 of Kralik vs. AP
Kralik’s Elvents w/ Morcs
vs.
my Ents w/ Ninja Gollum
That was officially the longest game I have ever played: 2 hours and 6 minutes. Anyways, I really can’t remember the finer points of regions 1 and 2. It was mainly single moving back-and-forth, with me putting a wound here and there on his comps and my Watch and Wait peeling his burdens. I finally killed one of the brothers at site 5, the one ray of hope for my Shadow killing his Freeps. After that it was quenched like a spark in an ocean.
He used Gil-galad with Leaving Forever and Uncertain Future to wipe out my conditions at site 6, which crippled my Shadow. My Freeps moved into 6 behind him with minimal damage. He made the double to 8 and handled things like a dream. And then I had to use Radagast. My move to 7 nearly proved disastrous, as he played Sauron which killed one of my Huorns. But fortunately for me I had Out of High Airs which scrapped Sauron on my double. He dropped 6 minions which gave me no trouble, and I was forced to triple.
He played 2 more minions, and then horror of horrors: GALADRIEL’S SILVER EWER! My comps took care of his minions with no problem, and just for kicks I used the Great Ring to overwhelm Frodo’s minion. Good game, and I look forward to Game 3! |

Indeed, it was a long and slooooooooooow game. NG did a great job of wounding my companions until I got Gil-Galad HKotN out. My shadow never stood a chance at all versus his Freeps... he gave me 30+ twilight more than once and I was unable to use it well. Swarming or corrupting 8 companions who are all strong and have Watch and Wait is... impossible. Galadriel’s Poison Ewer was played on Radagast only a site too late... |

Hey guys,
I hadn’t come by the forums in a while, but when I was contacted about an LOTR PC recently i thought I’ld check it out. I noticed you are getting hung up on some players playing. Do you want a sub for one of the matchups? I could sub in if you like. I can host when I’m at home, and I should have some decks that will work. Let me know.
