Owl decks...? You mean owling mine? I haven’t seen that in ages, actually, because Orzhov agro in a billion shapes and other Gruul beats/French Weenie chased it off the scene.

If you really play this turn one, you should attack with it turn two, and I wonder how many permanents he really has by then? This would break standard, guaranteed. Actually, 1 for a 1/3 fear without any abilities is probably enough to see play...

A 1/3 evasion creature that plays for one colorless mana? That would definitely see play!

With that ability... Shocked

It’s a cool idea, but it needs to cost much more.

Or maybe, it could read something like: "when you play... any player may pay 1 (or sacrifice a Land). If they do, remove ... from the game".
Hey, why don’t you check my LotR cards, Cobra? I thought you played it, once!

I don’t know. Fear is a purely offensive ability, so one power isn’t going to be that great. Most Orzhov would rather run isamaru or savannah lions (without the ability included) and I don’t see any good black but not white agro around...

How about:

Yawgmoth’s Itsy-Bitsy Spider - 2
Artifact Creature - Teeny-Weeny Mechanical Spider

Fear
Beware 1
(When this creature deals combat damage to a player, choose 1 non-land permanents that player controls. Then that player must sacrifice 1 non-land permanents of his choice. If the choices match, sacrifice Yawgmoth’s Itsy-Bitsy Spider. Otherwise, put a copy of Yawgmoth’s Itsy-Bitsy Spider into play for each mismatch.)

1/2
"Told you so."

Increased the cost from 1 to 2 and lowered the Beware ability from 2 to 1. The Thoughness from 3 to 1.

A whole variety of blast cards can now kill it as well (shock, seal) and it can no longer block Savannah Lions and the like.

Much better! I like the "if you don’t deal with me, I’ll whoop you" thing, but it’s not overpowered as it was! I like that a lot. Very creative with your own mechanic and stuff.

Thanks a lot Very Happy

It is indeed a lot more balanced. Even the Shadowmage Infiltrator - compareable card, same stats, also card advantage - costs 3 mana of which 2 are colored.

I loved the Infiltrator around the Invasion block. This card is even more powerful than the Infiltrator. The previous version was indeed a monster.
