Okay, so my Shelob, Eater of Light deck is fun, but it needs a little help. The main problem I have is against decks with lots of companions - my deck usually gets set up around site 5, leaving me 4 sites of a crazily-high strength Shelob. Unfortunately, this can only kill 8 companions, leaving the Ring-bearer free to live. Also, if I get set up a site late, or if a companion uses enough strength boosts to survive a couple skirmishes, I’m in trouble.
I’m thinking about using some  Orcs and Sauron’s Defences to slow down their Freeps, allowing my Freeps to move to site 9.
Any thoughts? |

| When I had an Eater of Light deck I also used the Troll of Cirith Gorgor and a bunch of the Roaming Sauron dudes and that seemed to work pretty well as ir killed a few companions early and left the rest for Shelob. |

Yeah, my old EoL deck was just like that as well 
4 x Shelob, Eater of Light
2 x Troll of Cirith Gorgor
4 x Advance Captain
4 x Advance Marauder
4 x Advance Regular
4 x Advance Scout
3 x Web
2 x Larder
2 x Grond, Hammer of the Underworld
3 x Rank and File
Used to work pretty well, but be careful playing the Marauder, as his ability might prevent you from having any Orcs left to stack on Web in the regroup phase. |

4 copies of a Unique Orc? I don’t know if I’d do that, I mean, you already have 4 copies of Shelob to clog your hand. However, I don’t know if they could be replaced by something else... |

It actually won’t clog your hand, since you can discard any extra copies during the regroup phase with Larder.  |
