isengard. good culture. i have often played against isengard. the two different kinds i played against were

isengard site control
isengard trackers

the trackers were good against decks that used a bunch of cards on companions, and the site control was just a beast, he used all damadge +1 minions, and stacked them on sites, and the swarmed me with about 4-5 one time even 8 uruks.

i have to g, but i’ll post more later. i don’t think i can get his exact decklist, so you may have to form your own.

Okay, you said you wanted a dwarf-based shadow...it’s pretty good, even if it’s only Movie Block. But it uses a lot of Reflections cards, just to give you a heads-up.

Starting Fellowship:
Gimli, Bearer of Grudges
Any 2-cost dwarf companion, usually a Dwarven Lord like Sindri or Uri
Durin III, Dwarven Lord

Key Possessions:
Hand Axe-very crucial!!
Dwarven Axe-another incredibly important card
Dwarven Armor-A free strength boost for Durin, and helps to protect dwarves early on

Key Artifacts:
The dwarven rings, especially Ring of Fury

Important Events:
Nobody Tosses A Dwarf
Flurry of Blows
Axe Strike
Honed
Blood Runs Chill
Cycling cards like Delving and Calculated Risk

Baruk Khazad is another good one. Dwarves got a lot better with BlaNOLINKck Rider, and cards like Proud And Able, Dwarven Bracers, No Pauses, No Spills...

that looks like it’s a great deck! I don’t have the Gimli ring bearer, or Durin, but I have a lot of the other cards. I would use Gloin as the two cost dwarf for starting, probably. I have full play-sets of hand axe, dwarven axe, dwarven armor, flurry of blows, and axe strike. I have on copy of Baruk Khazad. I have two copies of ring of accretion and three of ring of guile but that’s it for rings. And I can’t find Nobody Tosses a Dwarf or Honed, or Blood Runs Chill. Also, while I have two copies of Calculated Risk and only one of Delving I have found plenty of other cycling cards to compensate, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

I would really like to build this fellowship, but since the reflections cards are expensive, I would prefer to trade. If anyone has any of them (gimli especially, but durin and the rings as well) that would be great. Also any of the other cards I’m missing would be appreciated. Again, post or PM me. Thanks.

...oh, and blood runs chill is expensive as hell, if anyone has one of those they are willing to trade or sell let me know otherwise I think I’m gonna’ have to drop that one out of the deck... what ring would you reccomend for this deck?

What would be awesome is running dwarf discarding (nobody tosses a dwarf, dwarven axe) with orc discarding/corruption. (DDotR, Thin and Stretched, Desperate Measures) with the the Irresistable Shadow.

Hmm...that’s a pretty slim deck, especially if you’re going to be clogging it...

Here’s my thoughts on Moria swarm.

Host of Thousands is a 4x card. You need recursion.

They are Coming is another important card, maybe 1x or 2x.

Goblin Runner...have 4 for automatic twilight.

Goblin Scimitar-need it for cycling, so also include Goblin Scavengers. And Goblin Armory would be nice, but you don’t need it.

Goblin Swarms is an essential card for this build, so that you can stack your goblins and reuse them.

Have a Cave Troll, and put 1x Balrog in there, to get fetched by The Bridge of Khazad-Dum (if you can use FOTR sites...this works best in FOTR BLock, of course).

alright, some card you need for isengard site control are:

Attack on Helm’s Deep
Down to the Last Child
Burning of Westfold
Pillage of Rohan

my personal dwarven favorite, is damage dwarves. they can be incredable.

Goblin Armory is a must for any Moria Swarm seck. Trust me, my first deck was Moria swarm, and I would never have been able to throw out 10 minions off 3, if it wasn’t for my Goblin Scavengers/Goblin Scimitar/Goblin Armory engine (with Goblin Swarms). I know I’m staunchly opposed to shadow conditions, but I make an exception for Goblin Armory. This condition is a must for any Moria Swarm deck.
