Interesting phase choice for that ability. It lets you pull a bow for him, which is a nice touch. Looks good to me.

Aha! And now I see the tie-in. Since Legolas, Bowman of Mirkwood has to exert to get this back, it isn’t a broken combo, either. Me like.

Simple, powerful, and useful. AKA: good card.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: • Elrond, Half-elven

Regroup: Exert Elrond X times and add X to discard X Shadow cards.

The second X should be in []s or ()s, assuming you meant for it to be twilight tokens.
This could get really powerful really quickly. Maybe limit the types of cards that can be discarded. Otherwise this destroys big minions like Sauron and The Balrog and is quite broken, in my opinion.
Good cards, though. |

its worthless. make the regroup ability once and 2, and it might be considered half-decent.(elrond, half-decent ) |

Yes, I made a version titled ’A Dwarf Dare Not.’ |

Pretty powerful, but I think he should have some pump that allows him to get to 7 strength, like other versions of Haldir have. Maybe even just hunter 2 would be okay. As it is, I don’t think he’d ever see use except (maybe) against really, really, insanely strong Shadow archery.

C28
Nifty. Maybe change the spotting to "To play, spot Elrond (or 3 Elves)." Not necessary, but makes it a little more useful.

Maybe, since it was Aragorn that shouted this, you should require spotting a Man, or perhaps just an unbound companion that is not an Elf. And did you mean for it to limit it to a single minion, or to be for all minions in that skirmish?
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: To The Keep!
Event • Maneuver
Discard an card from hand to exert a minion; if the fellowship has moved more than once this turn, discard 2 cards from hand to wound a minion.

Again, perhaps require spotting a Man or a card or something.
Also, I think that, in line with some recent Decipher cards, this wording might be better:
To The Keep!
Event • Maneuver
Choose one: Discard an card from hand to exert a minion; or if the fellowship has moved more than once this turn, discard 2 cards from hand to wound a minion.
I know it looks kind of weird, but that’s how THEY did it. Check out Introspection and Momentous Gathering to see what I mean.
Didn’t mean to tear you down. These are good cards. They could just use a little tweaking here and there. |

another horrible haldir. c’mon don’t follow in D’s footsteps make him GOOD! make him archer, and +2 strength while at a forest site.

theoretically it should be artifact. make it each time a gondor artifact is played, add 1 to heal...

feathered totally rules it. make it and wound that minion if it is a uruk-hai

Or you could do both:

Just a thought.

Another thought: what if it worked like this:
Make an Elf strength +1 for each wound on each minion he or she is skirmishing.
That makes it a little more unique. I still wouldn’t be opposed to some Uruk hate, perhaps as an additonal strength reduction, though. Like:
Make an Elf strength +1 for each wound on each minion he or she is skirmishing (or +2 if that minion is an Uruk-hai).
Not trying to overrule you here, SoP, just...uh...expounding. |
