I love this idea of soloing Frodo. Who would have ever thought that would work??? I am going to try this strategy out for sure.
I do think a Bounder would be a very good addition - maybe use him with Frodo, Old Bilbo’s Heir (although you won’t get the discounts provided by Frodo, Reluctant Adventurer). But, you could always heal your Bounder.

I also agree that either reluctant, or heir would be equally good. if you could get a bounder site 1. |

I just don’t like relying on allies in Expanded format, with so much ally hate floating around. I prefer No Worse for Wear, especially since the opponent won’t see it coming.
It’s certainly a decent idea though, and if you make your own version of Solo Frodo you can try it out. Reluctant Adventurer just does a much better job of managing the twilight pool, which is why I use him.
