Well, this guy ain’t too shabby. A strength 11 minion, 13 under good conditions, and he bonuses your Mumak riders. Not bad at all. Furthermore, he has an excellent ability, reusing your Men mounts. Except that...how useful will it be?? Beast of War’s ability actually worked better when it was in the discard pile, sometimes, and this might also cause your hand to get clogged with unplayed Men mounts. So...iffy. I’d have to see the rest of the strategy.

For now, a 3 or a 4.

well you would actually be at a disadvantage against rohan or gondor because of it’s special ability, so right now, a 3

Frankly I can’t see it being used at all. Mumaks are a costly tactic and although would be nice to pull it off I really cant see that it’s going to happen. 2 because he’s very specialised and not particularly good even then as his ability to reuse mounts is moot as the new beast of war can be played from discard with threats out.

Yucko! The first ability only makes him as strong as other minions like Horde of Harad, the second ability hurts against Rohan, Gondor, and Shadowfax, and the third ability isn’t so great since Beast of War can be played from discard and Countless Companies can also play the mumaks.

A 2 from me.

Unless there is a new men mount in T&D (let’s hope), this is pretty terrible.

The first ability would often backfire, and the second ability isn’t all that good. A 3 from me. Smile
I had to put something here.

Is Beast of War the only Men mount? Other than the Messenger’s Mount?

So far, yeah it is, actually.

With the right strategy around it, this could be a 4 or even a 5. Right now the drawback of aiding mounted companions just makes it too weak. Still worthy of a 3, though.

Is this supposed to be a new version of Mumak Commander, or a new character entirely? I can’t really tell if it’s yet another spelling gaffe or not.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

It’s a new character.
All cards do what they say.

Good, because I’d hate to give up my Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings for this guy. Not that I’d want to.
