Orcs exert and wound in the maneuver phase in this Standard format deck.
--- end description ---

Black Land Chieftain x2
Black Land Observer x4
Black Land Overlord x4
Orkish Lackey x4
Orkish Smith x3
Ulaire Lemenya, Eternally Threatening x2
Orc Hammer x4
Unforgiving Depths x4
Goblin Hordes x4
Armed for Battle x2

I don’t think I’ve posted this yet. It’s my new deck and it works really well. You add threats with the Observer, Chieftain, and Lemenya, and then remove the threats with the Overlord to exert companions. Orc Hammer also gives exertions, and Armed for Battle will re-play it. Orkish Lackey finishes them off.

Goblin Hordes brings back whatever minions you need, and Unforgiving Depths makes the sites all underground. Orkish Smith brings back the conditions if they get discarded.

I would think you’d want more of the Chieftain than the Observer, but I guess that would make the deck far less potent if the opponent didn’t run a few artifacts and/or possessions. *shrug* Still, maybe three of each.

Neat Shadow side, though. Thumbs Up

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I actually really like the Observer since he’s cheaper and not unique. And I can grab back one of the Chieftain with Goblin Hordes if he would be useful.

Fair enough. It’s certainly not a recommendation I would call necessary by any means. This looks solid, and a somewhat balanced use of the Orkish Smith, for once. Smile

How archery? This deck wounds in the maneuver.

Frenzy of Arrows would be nice. Thumbs Up
