Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Just a certain little quest where they trekked to a volcano and threw a ring in. No big deal. Rolling Eyes

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

They were one and the same. Isildur killed the body Sauron had created, but Sauron did not truly die until the Ring was destroyed at Mount Doom.

correct Sauron had many bodies, isildur just took out his ability to sustain any shape aside from the eye.
and u might say gollum destroyed the ring but he was once a hobbit...

Nope, Smeagol was a hobbit. A sort of Stoor, actually.

And Sauron didn’t get killed, not by Izzy, not by the hobbitses. He’ll never get killed, ever. What happened at Mount Doom was that he was weakened so much that he’d never be able to take form again in Middle-Earth in any way that would threaten Good. Essentially killed, but not actually killed.

Oh, and it never said that Sauron could take on eye-form. Ever. The Eye is symbolical.
