Hey, an anti-Ent card and Weather condition all in one. Unfortunatly, I can’t get the gameplay and picture to make any sense together, but still a sweet card against Ents. Unfortunatly, it also has a "magic bullet" feel to it. However, it’s free and provides a skirmish pump to most minions, so it’s an easy splash.

I give it 4.

weird with the ent thing but since ents don’t have much urgency about them...

Don’t ents add a lot of twilight anyway?

What the heck?! The anti-Ent text makes NO sense. Eh?
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Cool with some of the old cultures coming back.

Again, a very meta-specific card with Ent-hate.

How would a Isengard and Wraith hybrid deck work? There are some hints of this in the Fellowship block, and I would like to explore this more.

EDIT: oops, non-wraith.

the ent reference is I believe for 3 reasons:
1 - Ents do not like mountains, they live in forests and walk well in plains, but surely mountains or caves wouldn’t be their favorite place to be.
2 - Ents are not very good with freezing cold storms I believe.
3 - Saruman do not like Ents as they destroyed his home

Still lame. Weather condition against ENTS?!?!?

And since you’re throwing out 40 with ents already, why not make it 48? Just means that after the shadow player is done playing minions, they have an additional 8 in the pool. Rolling Eyes

The only thing I could see this hurting is a Pipeweed deck with Merry, In the Bloom of Health and Pippin, In the Bloom of Health. 2, woo-hoo. Rolling Eyes

The skirmish pump isn’t bad, though. And it’s generic, usable with any minion.

And against Ents, this can be a beast. Get 4x of this, and that translates to over 20 extra added. Pile on the minions, baby! But against everything else, it tanks badly. If only it spotted something else...

Like "Spot 3 Free Peoples cultures to add 1".
