the ent reference is I believe for 3 reasons:
1 - Ents do not like mountains, they live in forests and walk well in plains, but surely mountains or caves wouldn’t be their favorite place to be.
2 - Ents are not very good with freezing cold storms I believe.
3 - Saruman do not like Ents as they destroyed his home

Actually, I think it’s more of a URGENCY issue. Ents aren’t really capable of moving with urgency (i. e. Haste).

Two of those in a mountain troll deck can be quite nice actualy. If you play against ents, spotting 6 of them would mean adding 12, that means you can have 4 more orcs for your swarm and get +2 anywhere if needed. It is not the best card ever, but can be a meta choice if you want to play a swarm in a multiplayer game.

Am i the only one that feels that this game text should by default be printed in every Ent?
The Ents started being overpowered when someone, while designing new cards, decided that they should be treated like every other companion and removed the unhasty mechanism.
When Ents without unhasty came out, the art of deck-building was lost in this game.
A mildly well-built Gandalf-Ent deck gives away much twilight only at the first 2-3 sites and it avoids serious damage due to the roaming penalty and the early draws.
And now with Stern words the situation is even more *****.
It is an anti-Ent card that they definitely deserve it and should have come out much earlier.
I will run 4 of these, no matter what shadow deck i play. Just for fun. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
I will vote for Urgency as the best card in Ages End Applause Applause Applause

Lame! While it is a balanced card, the picture makes NO sense in regards to the game text. I just wish that the picture was something different, because the text is really cool and helps hurt those crazy Ent decks.

4 for playability.

IDK, free +1 pump, easily splashable ent-hoser, I don’t think its that bad.

Kind of like Terrible as the Dawn. Specific, but if it pays off, IT PAYS OFF!

Hmm i think decipher have missed a key point here. The problem with ents is how to shut them down not pool. I think the least worries we have facing ents is pool, i mean they chuck it out like theres no tomorrow, what the heck do we need a little bit extra for? If it said exert each ent now then we’d be cooking with gas.

IDK, I’d sure like to be able to drop 13 Nazgul on them, + 4x A Shadow Rises, while hoarding Dark Approach. Without this card, not possible.
