Can you transfer this condition to any fellowship companion, or does it have to be a Shire companion?

It has to be a Shire guy cos once the card is transferred it must meet the requirements. If bearer is not a Shire companion its void.

Thanks! GP

Otherwise, it would be sweet in a WTG choke.

I don’t know.... To me, it’s pretty vague. I always read it as "INITIAL bearer must be a Shire companion", then the text (since it doesn’t specify Shire after that) leaves it open to being transferred to ANY fellowship companion.

At the very least, I would think you would be able to transfer this and immediately trigger the healing. Then, if it is indeed limited to Hobbits, you would discard it if that companion was not a Shire companion, but only AFTER the healing takes place.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Wouldn’t it then say "transfer to an Shire fellowship companion" ? I had been thinking the same thing as Dain.

The first bearer must be a Shire companion. When you transfer it, it can go on any fellowship companion, no matter what their culture is.

Wrong. Bearer is not then a Shire companion. Simple as.

You’re right, it isn’t. But the card only requires that the bearer must be Shire when you play it. When it transfers, any fellowship companion can bear it.
