Thanks for the turnout, guys. 7 names in the hat so far. We can get more.
I had to put something here.

I have sda but I don’t know if I can host and I don’t have a deck yet. I’ll join if space is still available (though I don’t really remeber how sda works).

I’d say no less than a dozen. Once we’ve filled up, we’ll figure out methods of playoff elimination, resolving the issue of hosting, etc.

Sorry AP, for reacting this late, but ofcourse, I’m in...The two problems we face are: not everyone can host, but that’s is been debated, but also the time. We live in different timezones...so it can be hard to make good agreements......

True, not everyone can host. If CBB is right, though, then that problem may (or may not) be solved. As for the time zone factor, that won’t be a problem, I don’t think. Ample time would be given for the gametime to be decided upon and then actually played.

If you mean communicate the entire game by means of AIM, then no. That won’t work.

Now that we have 9 people on the list (10, if TH13 gets SdA), we need to start deciding elimination formats and deck formats. I need some serious input, guys. The basic elimination methods are:

(1) 1 game only, winner advances
(2) best-of-3
(3) best-of-5

And then deck issues:

(1) Standard
(2) Expanded
(3) Open
(4) Block
(5) Other

Personally, I would vote for 2 and 1. What do y’all think?

depending on the number on entries for the first one and yes standard would be the best for question 2. If we get enough people we should run single elimination (just to save time) but right now with just 9 people best of 3 sounds right. There is my Two Cents
