I think it has some serious issues winning. You’re trying to do too much at once, playing aggro (Bitterblossom), controling (Darkness), disrupting (distress, dash hopes) and not exactly doing a whole lot of those well. i’d pick a single strategy, and go for it. Want disruption with a single finisher? Then pack Nantuko Husk, Nether Traitor, PERHAPS a few copies of Gravepact, Distress, Smallpox, Rain of Tears, Thoughtseize, Mind Shatter and The Rack.
I don't like YOU.

id use zombies like

Lord of the Dead
Korlash, Heir to the Blackblade
Festering Goblin
Zombie Warchief (most people dont like him, but i think he’s underrated)

so you could sac them and then bring them back with lord of the undead
and also buff up your planet terror army with warchief and lord

The Rack is the way to go. Run control/discard/The Rack for a win.

If you want black control, you gotta go rogues. Noggin Whack pwns. Mr. Green

Rain of Tears seems a little, meh. Just tossed in there. I don’t think you’ll grab it soon enough to slow down their mana. So I’d cut it.

Black decks aren’t the most powerful IMWO, but if you lots of experience, then do it. Otherwise I’d stick with white/blue or red/green.

BTW dude, welcome to the site. I see you are new so I’ll give a GP to start you off. hehe I’m kinda new too, but if you have MTG questions, Felipe Musco is the guy to ask. Thumbs Up

I wouldn’t run Dash Hopes. Any card that gives your opponent a choice is never good enough, since it’ll seldom do what YOU want it to do.

What the heck are you talking about? Dude, play a Rogue deck. I don’t play black b/c I think its OP. And...I’m really a red player. You know, chaos, direct slamming, setting things on fire is mostly my cup of tea.

Back on topic. F_M, I think Dash Hopes is great, because it either cancels a spell or you get a 2 mana swing for 5. Both rock.
