Because everyone (well at least me) likes to see what other people pull...here’s what I got today.

From a box of Hunters starters (can’t find boosters Sad)

The One Ring, The Ring of Doom x2
Legolas, Of the Woodland Realm
Leaflock, Finglas x3 (huh?!?)
One Last Surprise x2
Quickbeam, Hastiest of All Ents
Shepherd of the Trees
Desperate Move
Smeagol, Wretched and Hungry
Unseen Foe x2
Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
Madril, Defender of Osgiliath
Tremendous Wall
Bill Ferny, Agent of Saruman
Chieftain of Dunland
Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings
Black Land Shrieker
Gorbag, Filthy Rebel
Mountain-troll
Tower Troll
Burial Mounds
Eomer, Horsemaster
Eomer’s Spear, Trusty Weapon
Hobbiton Brewer, Maker of Fine Ales
Merciles Berserker
Ugluk, Ugly Fellow
Ugluk’s Sword, Weapon of Command
With All Possible Speed x2
Ulaire Nelya, Fell Rider x2
Mount Doom

Second box of Hunters Starters:

Gloin, Son of Groin
Arwen, She-Elf
Dinendal, Mirkwood Archer
Legolas, Of The Woodland Realm
The Mirror of Galadriel, Dangerous Guide x2
Spied From Afar
Leaflock, Finglas
Quickbeam, Hastiest of All Ents
Shepherd of the Trees
Connected By Fate
Gollum, Hopeless
Unseen Foe x2
Decorated Barricade
Tremendous Wall
Chieftain of Dunland
Primitive Savage
Blackland Shrieker
Unreasonable Choice x2
Burial Mounds x2
Rohan Worker x2
Little Golden Flower
Advancing Horde
Lurtz’s Sword, Mighty Longsword
Sentry Uruk
Ugluk, Ugly Fellow
Uruk Cavern Striker
A Shadow Fell Over Them
Ulaire Lemenya, Eternaly Threatening
Ulaire Nelya, Fell Rider
Mount Doom

All in all, the Hunters boxes were not too bad. I was a little disappointed at seeing several cards 4 times out of 72 rares, but that’s to be expected. I’m not sure why I’ll need four Leaflock, but you never know. I’m sure that I’ll have some for trade once I get a list up. On to the T&D boosters:

Beorning Axe (Legends Masterwork Foil)

Arwen’s Bow (Legends Foil)

Gamling, Dutiful Marshal

Second box of T&D:

Gruesome Meal
Erkenbrand’s Shield
Rohirrim Diadem
Fredegar Bolger, Fatty
Scouring of the Shire
Sting, Elven Long Knife
Cleaved
Lurtz, Halfling Hunter
Pull of the Ring

Well, that’s all. Now I’ve got all of the sorting to do. Looks like I still need some rares Sad, maybe I’ll pick up a box or two in a couple of months.

Cool findings...2x Ring of doom and mount doom in 1 box? Sick.

Maybe it is true that later starters tend toward good rares. Shocked Not to mention Ranger’s Longbow, Mumak Commander GAtS and Mountain-troll.

Although I’m wondering, do you have extra starter non-rares you might sell?

Are you talking about the "S" cards? If so, yes. I picked up 2 boxes of Hunter starter decks, so once I set aside what I’m looking for, I’ll have both Mauhur and Aragorn starters for sale or trade (list coming soon). They will just be the 57 decks, with the rares pulled.

oh man I love getting both the normal and MW versions of a good card in a box. I got the same thing in my T&D with Beorning Axe. Took me a while to realize its not unique.

Yeah 4x Leaflock is a bit much... but I use 2 in a deck. They’re well tradeable.

Great pulls though! Applause

Oh man... you’re giving me the bug. Speak to the hand I have no money. Sad

What?? Even with 4 of one card, it was a great pull!

Need? As in your life depends on it? You must have loads of money if you bought so much and are planning on buying more... BTW which site did you get these off of?

Well, "need" is a relative term, I suppose. I’m not really complaining about 4 of any card, just that I would have liked to get some different rares (I like sets). My collection up through Bloodlines is a little nuts, but post Bloodlines, I just stopped.

I don’t have loads of money, but being an engineer with a good job will feed the habit from time to time (that and a nice tax return). Moral of this story, stay in school!

I will say that I did buy from Hill’s Wholesale Gaming:

http://www.wholesalegaming.com/lotr/

I’ve bought from them twice this month and a bunch in the past. They have good prices and really fast shipping (I ordered these on Wednesday night late and received them Saturday).
